MATH

 

DEV-063 Basic Math is a refresher course designed to review all the basic math skills needed to succeed in math. Course content consists of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Percentages, proportions, integers, measurement, geometry, and algebra are also studied. Students who successfully complete the course will be ready for Basic Algebra.

DEV-073 Basic Algebra is designed to build algebra skills. The course content includes integers, exponents, linear equations, word problems, factoring, and graphing.


If math has not been easy, tutors are available in the Tutoring Center. Also, video tapes and computer tutoring systems are available. Math anxiety issues can be discussed with instructors and/or counselors.
